Challenges

Complex Integration: Difficulty in seamlessly integrating diverse energy production, storage, and consumption installations, including wind turbines, PV panels, and energy storage systems. 

Stakeholder Coordination: Managing collaboration among multiple stakeholders, including third-party energy providers, technical teams, finance managers, and leadership. 

Real-Time Monitoring: Ensuring real-time monitoring and management of energy resources across the terminal. 

Customized Solutions: Need for highly customized solutions to address unique project requirements and ensure seamless operation. 

Results

Implemented EnOS™ Flex to provide advanced energy monitoring, optimization, and forecasting for AET. By leveraging on-site solar panels and wind turbines alongside a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the solution enabled efficient economic dispatch and optimized battery usage. The Intelligent Energy Management System (iEMS) continuously refined energy operations, while seamless IoT platform integration ensured smooth coordination between the BESS and EMS, delivering maximum efficiency and sustainability.
